funniest one I've seen is Robson Moura stuck in a wicked deep kneebar and is just staring at his opponent with this matter of fact look and the caption reads "I AIN'T EVEN MAD"

there is a white belt at my gym who always tries to choke me from bottom sidemount. I tried to explain to him that is basically impossible and useless to do but he keeps doing it. Annoying as fuck!

Well i guess its marcelo so he can pretty much do whatever he wants really. Kind of weird to see it happen to a guy on Maia's level though. But seriously, these guys aren't going hard (you can see them doing the "lets just go light" conversation at the start lol). I think it was more of an experimental roll, if that makes sense.

Garcia also has the high elbow marcelotine completely wrapped up on Maia's neck and just lets him pass around to the side. He easily could have stopped the pass with his butterfly hooks, but he knows whats up.

Cool roll to watch. I really loved his triangle defense too, it just seems so simple.

^One of Marcelo's black belts, Henrique did that to me, too. Damned if I know how.

Jeff Glover has a setup for a guillotine from bottom side he showed us at a seminar. Unlike Marcelo's he doesn't start with it locked on. Glover told us at the seminar that it was this setup that he used to catch Robson Moura at the ADCC.

Of course, I've never been able to get it work, and probably never will. But for someone like Glover, who feels comfortable in every position and will attack from any position, it makes sense.
