My Rican buddy was there last year and said everyone and their grandmother owns a gun and must be very careful who you piss off since Ricans are hot tempered people and most likely packing heat, plus the economic situation in the island is not helping either

Eh. I'm Puerto Rican. As long as you stay away from the drug game, you've got little to worry about. Most of these people like Camacho get shot because of drug nonsense. True, random violence is few and far between.

Camacho wasn't a power puncher. I'll say Ricardo Lopez in his prime was better. But there are more.
