He's only saying this because before the Forrest fight, Drysdale said Anderson has big holes in his ground game and that Forrest would take him down and finish him and Anderson called him a fool and an idiot, then of course smashed Forrest.
If he was really so bothered by arrogance I doubt he'd be such great buddies with Frank Mir.

Never bought into the whole he's such a classy guy spiel Rogan and Goldy would repeat every damn fight. The only time he's been classy was towards Rich.

and that's because the fight was in Ohio, Rich's hometown.
I don't anyone's fool enough to believe this guy is truly humble. Chael wasn't trolling about everything he said about Anderson. He was telling what everyone really thought of Anderson.

But I do not get why so many people dislike his personality. Most of the time, he is very professional.

Haters just gotta hate. Silva(and Jones for that matter) give very little to hate on in their fights, so their personalities are villainized. If GSP could finish fights, they'd probably hold up with the classy, humble guy talk and find some way to disparage him as a person too. Fortunately GSP can dodge that bullet by being "boring."
