uploading pic

can someone please tell me how to upload a picture? i tried the directions given with no luck. when i hit the preview post button it shows up like this.

I fixed it for you in your post

From your photobucket account click on the Image code link and then paste it.

You clicked on the Email & IM link and pasted that.

I recommend TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting over Photobucket if the picture you're linking is 0% sexual.

It's easy to exceed your bandwidth allowance on Photobucket, but Tinypic is inconsistently puritanical on what they allow; a picture of a woman in a bikini is likely to get pulled, but you might find the occasional Tinypic-hosted nude photo.

ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting is probably the best, but if you don't register (it's free), you have to do a little clicking and dragging to get the direct link to your photo.

I like Photobucket. They've got a GIMP-like photo editing tool on the site. It's only $25 a year for the Premium membership. It's cheap so I pay to avoid the bandwidth issue.

Also if you want to direct link a pic to post it, select a picture on the internet, right click and select copy url, then come back here, theres an icon, in this box where you are typing your text, at the top on the right, looks like a scenery yellowish, with a mountain and a sun in it, click it and put the url to the pic in that box.
