Sam Stout Dissapointed That John Makdessi Kept "Running" In The Fight

It was one of the best displays of head movement that we've seen in the octagon. Stout just couldn't hit him. Stout's complete inability to deal with the jab was pretty eye opening too. If you are predominantly a striker, how can you be completely thrown off and dominated by a basic jab?

Doesn't seem like a legit gripe. I was really impressed with Makdessi's boxing skills and his head movement in particular.

It was a defensive gameplan, but not so much so that I disliked the fight. If the Condit/Diaz fight had gone down at that pace I wouldn't have been nearly annoyed as I was. Hell, if Frankie Edgar boxed like that instead of how he has in his last several outtings I'd be a fan.

I enjoy a good counter-attack game as long as it doesn't get so defensive it feels like they're avoiding the fight.

Makdessi looked great. Hopefully we'll see more of that and maybe add a dash of killer instinct to push for a finish after battering his opponent with counters for 1-2 rounds.

Makdessi was good in that fight. Dude used a stiff jab and had some of the best head movement I've seen. He prolly dodged more punches than blocked. Stout is reaching here wit these comments.
