Well after Vitali mopped the floor with him he seemed to take his weight serious. He was taking fights left and right and was pretty trim, but he hasn't been to active lately so I am curious to see if he has put the weight back on.
I like Kelly but he is going to be another name on Ward's resume, he may even get stopped in this fight. My concern is this fight may be more one sided than the B hop fight, which took a lot out of Kelly.

After Vitali he went record high weight vs Minto, weighed in about 250+ for a few fights, had a couple after losing about 15lbs and has trended up weight wise his last two. Given his history I think we will see fat Arreola again. I hope we don't.

You're right, I thought it was after Vitali when he got down to 230 or so, I haven't seen him since though.

I hope Pavlik can pull something out of his ass for three reasons.
1. To shut everyone up on here
2. I dislike Ward.
3. I like Pavlik.
Trust one thing though. Anyone saying they aren't interested surely won't miss this fight. It will be one of the biggest hyped fights of the 1st qtr of 2013.

They were saying stuff like that, but I feel it was all BS hype. Outside of some shots from deceiving angles, he never looked THAT much trimmer. Plus as SF said, he was heavier than ever before for a bit during that time.
Sucks, so much potential. A tough, Mexican HW, who can brawl and has decent boxing skills. A cash cow (no fat pun intended) that isn't letting himself be milked!

I don't dislike Ward, I just happen to like Pavlik a whole lot more, I guess I can "Relate" to some of the things that have gone down for the guy, and believe you me, it'd be my inspiration to never surrender for a solid DECADE if he pulled the upset, but damn it, C'MON Kelly! You could have re-established people's faith in you with like... 8 other more asked for fights! Okay, 8's a random # I pulled out of my ass, but geez, at 168, I'd call for Kessler, Froch, Abraham, and Bute fights a million times over before I'd call for a Andre Ward blowout. And 160? What about a Martinez rematch? JCCjr? GGG? Pirog?

Letting himself be milked, hahaha, thanks for the laugh!
