Boxing betting
I'm thinking of trying my luck on boxing betting. Anyone have any stories? Advice? Good places to bet? Tell me about your wins and losses.

I use 5dimes, just got a payout of a few hundred dollars a month or two ago. I got a win tonight on Johnathan Banks at +320 but lost on Hernan Marquez and a prop on Not Broner inside the distance. I bet on all sports, especially Boxing, football, and MMA.
By most bettors opinions, 5d seems to be a pretty solid book with alot of props and betting lines, especially for bigger fights. Only advice I have is to manage your bankroll as well as you can. Don't chase if you're down on the day and try to have fun with it. GL man.

When you win how long do they make you wait for your money?

It depends on how choose your form of withdrawal. I wire the money onto my account but you can also use a Visa creditcard if you want. I got a withdrawal wired to me and it was pretty simple, I told them I wanted a withdrawal via wire and gave them my name and address etc.
Then it took around 24hrs for them to process it and the day after they had a note on my account for the control number and sender's name and city so I could go pick it up. Easier than I thought but my withdrawal was fairly small compared to some people's. You can also get free withdrawals on Monday's from 9am to noon or 1 or some shit. Hope that helps.

How convenient of this thread to show up. I've been playing with the idea of gambling on boxing this past week.

ok, thanks, it does. I wouldn't have bet against viloria from what I've seen. as of now, i can't bet on no one but I will soon. The pac fight is a tough one to pick but I don't believe pac deserves to be any kind of significant favorite especially considering the way he's fought the past year or so.

the way i see it is, i don't know any other subject better than I do boxing, it's really the only thing I'm extra smart about so why not. no one is right 100 percent of the time but if i'm smart I think i can make more than i lose.

No problem man. Yeah, Marquez was a slight underdog so I bet him b/c I thought he could get the win since Viloria's been so inconsistent in his career. Turns out I was wrong though, nice ko by him.
Agree, Pac is being favored -320 to +260. Seems like the books favor him to win another close Dec. I think JMM makes this a close one again, tough one to call imo.

Won a few hundred betting on Bradley to beat Pacquiao. Don't normally bet but those odds were too good to pass up.
