First amatuer mma fight in two weeks
Got my first mma amatuer fight in two weeks.
Ive been training taekwondo for three years and mma on and off for three years, basically I have taken this fight at short notice, after having a year off, been training for the past month.
The problem is that with regards to rolling and juijitsu the classes are only on twice a week, is there anything I can be doing in the gym with regards to grip and wrestling strength?

There's not too much one can accomplish in only two weeks as far as strength goes. You don't want to start anything intensive this close to a fight that could make you too sore.
Maybe some light squats, deads, and bench presses with a little volume to get you stretched out and your muscles working again.

There's nothing in terms of S&C you can accomplish 2 weeks out of the fight that you haven't already been working on.
Do more MMA training sessions/drills/whatever.

Good luck with this fight. Afterwards, come back and we may be able to help you with a S@C Program. But for now, just concentrate on the fight.
And again, best of luck.

Train, and then rest. And if you dont have to cut, eat.

If you're 2 weeks out from a fight, then you've still got a bit of time that you can somewhat improve your conditioning, but not your strength by any real means. Strength takes time, and 2 weeks isn't very much of that.
Having said that, all the best for your fight, and good luck.

There is very little you can do in a week, and realistically you only have a week. The last week before a fight should be very light, to make sure you are totally rested. Im not a huge fan of anaerobic work, but at this stage you should spend this week doing sports specific anaerobic drill, such as pad / bag work. Fast, intense, long rest periods. Its too short notice to try and work on grip or strength

The conditioning is going to be your biggest issue. Don't get suckered into unnecessary ground and pound... and good luck.

First of all thanks guys looking forward to it, secondly s*** I tried BSN nitrix for two days, Saturday and Sunday passed and Im short of breath breathing heavy while im sitting down. Is this due to the increased oxygen flowing to my muscles, Im a bit paranoid now about the fight.

I have no idea but it's pretty silly to be trying a new supplement the week before your fight. Hopefully the effects go away before the weekend. Good luck with your fight, come back and post video if you have it.
