Sure she can make 135, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Don't train + Starve yourself = weight loss. Problem is, after starving herself and weight cutting, she barely makes 145, at 135 she'd be too weak to put on a good show.

Cyborg is in much the same situation as Reem.

Obviously they are top of the heap, but their latest slip-ups have cost them some leverage.

In Women's MMA, there's not many good fighters, and even less champions, so you don't have the luxury of staying at a certain weight your whole career.

If Rhonda wants to get paid, she has to fight Cyborg at 145. Rhonda hasn't beaten a single person she wasn't supposed to beat already. Basically her career comes down to 1 question.....can she beat Cyborg? Cyborg already had her super fight with Carano, she doesn't need Rhonda. For Rhonda to have any legitimacy, she has to take out Cyborg, and that's not happening.

No, its if cyborg wants to get paid and have a spot on the UFC roster she has to fight Rhonda, not the other way around.

Rousey competed in judo at 154 - but that's same day weigh-ins. You weigh in, then you compete a couple of hours later, so there's no water cut. Subtract 15 pounds for weighing in 24 hours before the fight, and she'd be at 139 pounds. So fighting at 135 pounds is only about 5 pounds different than same day weigh-ins at 154.

And since Rousey makes 135 pretty easily, it doesn't make sense to say she's running away - it seems to be her optimal weight. Or are you one of those folks who thinks that no one should be cutting weight? In which case its also true for Cyborg, who cuts weight to fight at 145, and every fighter in the UFC except for the heavy weights, who cut weight.

Alright Mr.Smarty two-shoes, who exactly is Rhonda gonna fight in the UFC she hasn't already beaten in Strikeforce?

There is ZERO marketability for her in the UFC if she doesn't fight another name opponent, and guess what, there's really only one woman that has a name for her to fight. There's only one fight for Rhonda at the moment that will draw viewers in. A single fight.

She needs Cyborg to have a career in MMA

If Rhonda doesn't fight Cyborg, in that exact order, women's MMA is as good as dead, at least in the UFC.

1. So you think a career-long steroid cheat is suddenly going to stop taking steroids when she knows she doesn't have any drug tests coming up in the next year? She's probably on more steroids than ever in her life.

2. Of course her doctor says she can't cut to 135, have you EVER seen a doctor that was pro weight-cutting?

3. There are numerous examples of guys cutting out the steroids and dropping a lot of muscle mass to go down in weight. I think Coleman had weighed around 260 for some fights and after going clean he was a 205'er. Cyborg has made 140 before, she could quit steroids, do more cardio and be a 135'er if she wanted, but she is too scared to fight anybody without a 20 pound and 10x testosterone advantage.

4. I have no idea where this Cyborg myth came from where she supposedly has one punch knockout power, she is a TKO artist who gets wins by GNP (good luck getting ronda down) or from the clinch (good luck clinching with Ronda, it's just what she wants). Go rewatch Cyborg versus Marloes and Cyborg versus Gina and tell me you still think no-technique Cyborg could beat Ronda, I just don't see it.
