Why did the seller cancel? I am presuming the listing included free shipping and they are too dumb to put it in an USPS medium flat rate priority box so they think it would cost more to ship to APO/FPO. I really hope you left them a BIG FAT NEGATIVE hit for their actions. If you have not done so, you should go ahead and do so now. They cannot retaliate with negative feedback of their own because sellers cannot leave feedback on buyers anymore. There should have been no problem at all with them sending you the item you won. Unless it ended too low for that particular seller and they wanted to find an excuse not to honour the winning bid. In either case leave them a negative; it's ridiculous.

I never understood that. Majority of the sellers either charge an absurd amount for Standard/Priority shipping or will not ship to Alaska/Hawaii/APO/FPO/etc.

Either way, an APO/FPO address doesn't cost anymore to ship to then a stateside address and to not sell an item because it didn't meet his price is dirty. He should've set a reserve if he was gonna do that. If I were you I would do a couple of things: 1) See if he relists the gi 2) Leave negative feedback. I had a buyer leave me neutral feedback because I didn't offer international shipping but it was my fault for not putting "No International Shipping" in my auction. If he didn't state "No FPO/APO addresses" (which is dumb) then I would crucify this clown.

Well i do understand the guys concerns about customs because i have has stuff get lost before. and since the gold star is coming on monday i think i will get that insted

I don't think APO's are trackable, I sent something to an APO and it stopped tracking at the Canadian customs, so then I was out $300 and a phone... I no loger ship to APOs either.

Alright, I don't want to harp on a sub-topic, but I really think that this seller truly is deserving of a big fat negative feedback.

If shipping to APO/FPO with Signature Confirmation (it is like 2.10$ more)(and required for items valued at >250$ USD anyway), it does not matter if it is going to a little tiny camp in the middle of shit Irak, the seller is covered. Someone is signing for it (more than likely the military postal officer) so it does not matter. Same price as shipping USPS Priority flat rate with signature confirmation (again, required for stuff valued at 250$).

The piece of shit eBayer did not honour his own bids because he simply wass trying to sell it for more than what it ended at. He probably has little-to-no feedback, and is completely incompetent, and will screw someone else over who actually has his ship it to them if you do not leave negative feedback recording your experience.

In the end they did you a favour; you want this new one. Best of luck getting it at face value on this monday's drop. The dilemma you might find yourself in is that if you do not get this new colourway, and try to get it on the secondary market, it may be well more then 210$ since it is the latest and greatest and there is more demand for it. Lew is a buyer's market right now since Gold Star is out (black Lew of course; white Lew is so rare that it will always be seller's). - E
