If you liked Tatsuji vs Ryuji, definitely check out their brawls with Hayato, three tough guys with one name and no defence.

Another fight that is a must is Hisanori Maeda vs Ryuji Kajiwara, which may give Zambidis-Chahid a run for it's money.

This is probably the best Kickboxing fight I've ever seen. All I can say is wow. What year did this fight take place? This fight is way better than Chahid vs Zambo and that used to be one of my favorite fights ever. Man I've been sleeping under a rock. Good shit.

Michael Thompson vs Kiatsongrit Changpeuk

Michael Thompson an amazing karateka, tough as nails & arguably one of the best kickers of his era - trained at the Tokei in South London - moving there in a few months time hopefully under Sensei Orlando Roach .

is it just me or do most japanese fighters lack power/explosiveness?

it always seems as if they don't work alot on that part in training

"Forgotten", was perhaps a wrong word.

But what I meant, was fights which often are not mentioned on "best / favorite fights" threads etc. They dont get the views and hype they deserve.

Here's one I don't often see mentioned; Remy Bonjasky vs Ernesto Hoost - K1 2004. Don't know how to embed the video, sorry.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si-jfsq94PM

Hoost started a lot better but Remy started catching up in round #2. The combination ending with the uppercut in the extra round was probably what got Remy the victory, since Hoost was unable to penetrate Remy's defense.

I remember seeing a backstage video after the fight where Hoost was really pissed about the decision.

EDIT - Here it is.
