Went to the Dr. today. I'm down 7 more pounds, so weighed in at 312. Slowly but surely getting there. Oh, I'm 6'0 btw so we can see how my height/weight factor in.

I'm sure at least a pound or two of that is from being sick, but still glad to see the progress. Came home and took a long nap after the doc's.

went to class tonight and had a good night. THe instructor kind of let me go at my own pace, knowing I'd been out for a week. Felt good though.

I started blogging my experience in all this awhile back. I decided to get a domain. I call it "Fat to Fighter". I hope it's ok to post here, if not I can just copy my posts to here too

You remind me of a jewish guy I trained with back when I was starting out. He also weight above 300 pounds but I guess he was also almost 6' 6. It was really interesting to spar with him b/c his footwork was very slow but if he hit you it was insane. It was also amazing to see how his physique changed over time!

Thanks! I'm only 6'0, so not 6'6, but they tell me I got some power on my punches, especially when I get my pivot and shoulder movements right. I love watching that heavy bag jump on the chain instead of swing when I hit it.

Was proud of myself tonight. Felt sluggish and tired after work, did NOT want to go to train after. But I made myself go and pushed myself through it. Not my best workout, but I feel good I powered my way through it.

I will just have to experiment and see what works.
I eat veg, meat, cheese and fish in that order. Lots of fatty (or lean) meat fried with low sodium soy sauce and clarified butter after marinating in mustard and olive oil. No processed food or sugar.

I have ldl and hdl like an athlete.

Digested fat is good for you, fat keeps your brain working. The fat you eat doesn't turn into fat in your body.

If I ate beans and rice now, I'd feel sick for a couple of days.
