What's with the Weidman hype, you seriously think this guy is a harder fight than GSP? I understand Chris is bigger, but is he really more of a threat to Silva than GSP is?

The hater don't want to see Silva fight Jones. They want to see him lose. If at any point Jones loses or starts struggling against lesser fighters, they will quickly lose interest. When shitdoggers still believed Silva was easy prey to top position grapplers, the GSP fight sounded great. After he finished Sonnen (2x) and Okami, he was just too big.
You know, I really don't care if GSP doesn't want the fight. It's ok. We get it. I do think it's perfectly fair for him to get some heat because of it because he rode the Silva hatewagon when it suited him. Particularly around the Leites and Maia fights, he knew that a lot of fans hated Silva and talked openly about fighting him. But then Silva went back to murdering MWs and when push came to shove...

Some in here acting like they are GSP's tender lover. It's time for him to fight Silva. It will take place soon and the MMA world will see who is best. If GSP isn't 'ready' he shouldn't be fighting Condit right now either. Stop 'fight knighting.' It's squicky and pathetic.

Should GSP put a beating on Anderson, how in hell will you ever market Anderson vs Jones? You wouldnt be able to obviously, because the smaller guy won, however should Hellbones win vs Anderson, people will simply state Jones was to big/reach etc..., and you could still market the GSP fight.
Im all for superfights, but not at the expense of losing the Hellbones vs Anderson fight, that's the fight i really want to see,
I kinda picture it like this.... both in the spider position coming towards one another, stand and "Clash of Titans" stand up war.
Why would anyone not want to see this?

If you're the greatest of all time and you've fought at LHW multiple times, stop being such a bitch by ducking the champ at that weight division and call out a smaller champ who's never fought above his weightclass.

GSP is a bigger money fight than Jones. It's as simple as that.
If you can't acknowledge that then you're just bashing the guy for the sake of bashing him.

If Anderson can't beat GSP, he has no business fighting Jones. As far as I'm concerned, Jones is basically a bigger, better and more dangerous GSP.

Exactly my point. People whom dont see this logic, dont think GSP stands a chance, whilts i think he can most definatly pull it off.

One thing people forget is that the separation between ufc weight classes are huge. GSP could probably cut into the 160s if not 160 and Silva the low 170s if not 170. The reason this fight makes the most sense is that Bones most extreme weight cut would likely be 195lb. Do the math and combine the fact that GSP and Silva's careers have aligned and that is why this superfight makes the most sense.
I think some people irrespective of the fighter look for the biggest challenge possible, not because the fight interests them but rather they want one fighter to lose. Thats crazy.
