I've met Brad a few times and he is a really nice guy and deserves to win, i really like the fact that before his fight with X he came out and said that he didn't have a sob story so many guys on TUF throughout the years have given the stupidest things to try and get people to feel sorry for them its refreshing to have somebody who just fights.

haha, yeah that was funny as hell. I bet the producers were like 'have you had a cat that died?' .. err 'Lost you wallet?' ... 'have you ever just wanted to bang?' etc to prompt him. But nope, 'I'm fine thanks' haha

Nice fight. I would have given it to Benny, but I`m ok with the result.

Really? Maybe it's bias, but I thought Brad clearly won 1&3???
You could even argue that he won the 2nd as although Alloway won most of the round and got the knock down;he was rocked and could hardly stand up at the end of the round. Dude was saved by the bell.

Yeah, I wouldn't contest a split decision.
It was a bit frustrating for me to watch though.
They'd seen Brad fight, knew he was a grinder and most dangerous up against the cage. Still, Alloway flagged at the end of each round and couldn't stop Brad from ending the rounds grinding up against the fence and taking him down.
Plus, even when Alloway was clearly outstriking Brad, he was mostly striking defensively.
If only he'd had the energy to fight off that last takedown and end the round banging.

I had Alloway decisively winning the striking in all rounds, but losing on aggression and takedowns.
Always as he tired at the end of the round and stopped circling away from the cage and throwing enough to keep Brad at bay.
Best I saw from Brad in the striking was that pair of good bodyshots, when Alloway was already gassed, that really took the wind out of his sails.

Weird. Did you expect them to call if for Alloway then?
I thought Ben landed some clean shots at the start of the 1st and 3rd rounds, but he was visibly hurt on multiple occasions in both and Brad was in a dominant position on the brink of finishing the fight at the end of both rounds.. And like you say he was backing up the whole time too, and not really getting in-and-out so much as just letting Brad come onto him.
He'll have to improve massively to beat ya man in the finale though. I hope he's gone somewhere new to train, either with Ross to Alliance or at least to Rough House. Brad's got tons of heart, strength and commitment. Some decent boxing too, but he's really lacking in grappling. He relied on strength>technique in both fights and that'll only getcha so far.

I thought Alloway had it for sure until that last takedown. Lost the first (too much time on his back), definitely won the second (dominated the striking, dropped Brad, cut him and spent more time on top striking), and was taking the third until that takedown.
Even when he was gassed at the end of the rounds, he was slipping most of Brad's shots pretty easily. Ben outlanded Brad handily in punches alone, and Brad didn't throw a single kick did he?
I wasn't shocked that Brad won, because he was constantly coming forward, got at least one takedown per round, and ended each round on Ben's back.
His striking was bad though. Like I said, best I saw were those two bodyshots.

Fair enough, I think we're on the same page really.
Yeah, the bodyshots were nice but his stand-up outside that seems pretty stiff, both footwork and striking wise. Seems to hurt people when he does land, but he really needed to cut off the angles and just have more confidence in his hands I think.
And no, no kicks that I can remember, just punches and some knees in and around the clinch.
Like I said before, where he trains is only a couple of miles from where I'm from and I've never heard of the place. He's really gotten this far without any top coaching I suspect/presume. I hope he can get that cuz he has the mental and physical attributes, but needs a lot of refining if he's not gonna get starched at the top level tbh.
