No. Miami played yesterday night in LA. Lebron played 42 minutes, and Wade still looks like shit.
Miami gets beat when you have 1 guy who can slow down either Wade or James, Denver does in Iguodala, when the other team has an extremely quick PG, which Denver does in Lawson, and when the other teams have bigs and/or 3pt shooting; Denver's bigs are capable of having big games, and the Nuggets are capable of hitting 3s.
So a back to back against a team that has the tools to beat you, and also playing in their house, 5000 feet above sea level, where your body has no time to rest and adjust after playing just the other night?
I wouldn't bet on Miami.

Yeah, I would agree with Palpatine. Back-to-back games on the road and it's looking like Wade will be out tonight.
With that said, I personally think NBA betting is a crapshoot. More so than most sports, at least. These guys play 82 games a year and even the best teams are gonna lose 25+ of them. The Pistons just won their first game (by a blowout, nonetheless) yesterday and the Bobcats also won. If I remember correctly, both of them were the biggest dogs out of all of the NBA games yesterday.
I'm debating if I even want to touch this game because I think the odds reflect how close this will be, but I'd go with Denver if I had to pick.

It's not a crapshoot at all. At least for me it's hasn't been. You just have to pick your spots.
The Pistons won because Bynum is out for the 76ers and Monroe is a beast. Him going off yesterday wasn't inconceivable. Jason Richardson is still recovering from a sprained ankle, and Turner has looked like shit every gam this season. The Pistons looked pretty decent when they almost beat OKC earlier this week. This win was due, and it came against a depleted 76ers team that belongs in the D-League.
MKG on the Bobcats has been a relief. Finally, Michael Jordan did something right. He can defend, he can score, and he is pretty damn athletic. And Kemba Walker has been solid. The Bobcats have a future.
The TWolves are the unluckiest team in the league. They don't even have enough players to dress, and had to sign free agent Josh Howard, in order to be able to play basketball. Love and Rubio are still out. They lost Budinger, they lost Roy, they lost Barrea, and recently Pekovic went down. That's literally their entire starting line-up except for Kirilenko, and their 1st 2 guys off the bench.
None of these were surprises.

I don't necessarily disagree with most of what you're saying, but the Pistons were definitely a huge surprise to me yesterday. They had a consistent effort from everyone and Kyle Singler showed up big time last night. Personally, that's something I would've never anticipate happening. Nobody really showed up for the Sixers and they were at home.
I just feel with the amount of games there is in the NBA, there's gonna be a lot of off-nights that no one can predict no matter how much thought and analysis you put into a match-up. And in the NBA, teams can afford that, in other sports, not so much. Just my .2 cents.
The key is that you have to eat, sleep, and breathe gambling. I made my first bet when I was 15 years old, and I always made money. I never bet like you or anyone else. You know "have some fun with it", or shit like that, I bet like a fucking brain surgeon. I have to know everything. I find out the kind of inside stuff that nobody else knows, and that's what I put my money on. I know if the PG is on coke, or if his girlfriend is knocked up. I get the decibel levels produced by the fans, so that I can judge the free-throws. I even figured out the different bounce you get off the different kinds of wood they use on professional basketball courts, you know? I work on this shit day and night. There was nothing about a game that I was gonna bet, that I didn't know. Season after season, I'm the only guaranteed winner. I get so serious about it, I don't I even enjoy myself anymore. But that's just the way I am.
