Check out Carlson's if possible. Generally the attitude I get from Shootfighters is that you're either juicing, a dick or both.

That's obviously not only hyperbole and a generalisation, but they do produce good grapplers and fighters.

To be honest I didn't find the "juicing" culture that bad there to give them they're due as you could easily make that assumption based off the way they act. I've been to much worse gyms in the midlands.

Instructor's turning a blind eye or even encouraging being a dick would be a bigger concern.

It's definitely a gym that is much more geared towards cage fighting than martial arts and I'm talking much more about basic notions of respect and less about meditating up a tree when I say that.

Sounds like Carlson Gracie's is the way to go, either that or try and make my existing classes work out (which I'd only be able to do by finding a 9-5 job)

Thank you all for your input.

I loved going where I used to train and I have a lot of respect for the teacher there, but I trail behind because of my shift and studies whilst the rest continually improve. Frustrating.

Anyway, London Shootfighters, what do you guys think? Anyone recommend anywhere else?
im from ealing aswell. once my gym membership expires i plan on joining hooks

When I went, the afternoon classes were 2.30-4.00 at London shoot and 12-1.30 at Carlsons, I found 12-1.30 a better time to train and in days in which I didn't have a lot on it would make it a lot easier to do two classes in one day.
