Ya but he would have been the Jays ace after Morrow went down, so as their 3-4 starter its a huge improvement. They already had one of the better lineups in that divison, adding Reyes, Bonifacio as table setters in front of EE/Joey Bats is going to be fun to watch.

Still got Syndergaard, Sanchez, Stroman, Gose, and of course D'Arnaud.
Sucks to see the other guys go, but the Jays got a hell of a deal. Very excited.

The Marlins front office is amazing. Sign a bunch of stars to big contracts and trade them away in a year for a bunch of prospects.

So wtf did the Jays give up? This almost seems like the kind of deal that MLB should veto on grounds of fairness or something.
That said, I love the Jays, so this is pretty cool. Would love to see them take the East finally.
