Man, I was really hoping he'd reinvent himself as a top non-UFC bantamweight before that slam. He's one of my favourite fighters ever and I know he has the skills and talent to be one of the best but he's lacking the fight IQ and chin for it.
Good to see him back though.
he looked good in the FFJ BW tournament. alot more composed than usual, his boxing in particular looked really crisp. but yeah his chin will always be a huge liability, esp. now in the latter stages of his career. he should mow through sato though.
Well, the Randleplex did have quite a few more lbs behind it and they all went flying.
Yeah, but the angle of landing was infinitely less destructive, Fedor took that shit on his shoulders and upper back, which while apparently breaking a rib at least didn't cause him to land on his head.
