My bad my phone froze, didnt realize i double posted. Nice speed on the de work. I sometimes forget when I'm doing de work that I'm suppose to focus on speed. Some sets I just go through the motion without focusing.

I do the same thing sometimes as well. There will be sets when i get "lazy" and then i'll remember that i should be doing them fast. This is the main reason why i started recording my DE work, so i can see if i'm moving fast. If i see that the bar speed is slow, i'll just lower the weight next time around.

If i get an extra day (usually saturdays), it will be either ohp, rows, or front squats depending on what i feel like doing.

Thanks! My press stalled, mainly because i don't train it anymore due to shoulder pains. I saved my shoulder for benching. Now i just don't do dips anymore, i'll try to do overhead work at least once every 3 weeks.

It's my right shoulder. I injured it a long time ago (during my gym idiot days) doing db lateral raise. The weight i used was too heavy and it tweaked something. It was never the same after that. Whenever i raise my right arm to the side, at a certain point it starts to hurt really bad. I'm just glad it doesn't bother me too much when i'm benching. What really helped was doing this:

i do the first 3 warmups in that video because i don't have the equipments for the other ones. I also do shoulder dislocations using a mop handle. So far it helps with my shoulder issues so i'll just keep doing them.

How's your shoulder? I see that you're benching again.

at least its not keeping you from working out. is it getting better? rotator problem?

i never thought my shoulder was going to get better. it wasnt the rotator it was at the acromion. i feel blessed that it got better. i started to do pull ups and face pulls and it really started to get better. now ive added kroc rows too and prob inverted rows soon. at least 2 of them a bench day + dislocations is the plan.

it prob depends on the shoulder injury though, but maybe one of those will help you too. i used to have the WORST tendonitis in the rotator and almost had to consider surgery. bad bench form and no rear delt/back work led to hunching forward = muscle imbalance.

im testing my shoulder out right now by range of motion and for the first time since May i feel no pain. like magic. i almost feel blessed right now. will pray to god that i can figure out my knee injury and rehab it well.

I had to look up what acromion is. After looking at the chart, that is the pain that i'm having. The first time i did the warmups in the video, it got worse so i stopped doing them. After a few months i decided to do them again because it wasn't getting any better (i thought it was gonna heal by itself). I just worked through the pain and now my shoulder feels better. I know it will never be 100% again but i just have to live with it. I'm just happy that it doesn't bother me when i bench. Dips, however, aggrevate it so i stopped doing them. It also hurt after i did DE bench last week, that's why i mixed up my grip for DE bench this week and for next week i'll probably do DE paused bench.

I'm glad your shoulder feels better now. I hope your knee would feel better too. I remember you mentioned that you have tk knee sleeves but don't wear them everytime you squat. Just make sure you wear them. I used to have knee pains too on my right knee and it disappeared after i started wearing knee sleeves. Good luck dude. I want to catch up to your squat and bench, but not this way

yeah i havent tested it with dips yet but i really think the rear delt/upper back exercises will make it better. i cannot believe i have no pain and full ROM right now. and mainly from face pulls pre bench and kroc rows post. i wish i would have thought of that sooner but i figured it would go away with rest. but it never did. give face pulls and krocs a shot.

ill prob start wearing the sleeves again. i got it from running and a friend really thinks its runners knee due to my flat feet/leg discrepancy and years of squatting that may have created a muscle imbalance. esp in my hams and glutes which are apparently very weak. so im just going to focus on glute/ham exercises while i rehab it. i wish my body was more even and symetrical lol.
