I'm leaning this way.

There will be the hand full of stacked cards next year, but the potential for watered down card has just increased 10 fold... with the acquisition of the women we are guaranteed untalented worthless fights, which in turn will water down more and more cards in 2013 and into the foreseeable future.

It's really more of a case of having many events. A deeper talent pool that gets to fight more often is going to produce a large number of good quality fighters and fights. The extra exposure also helps talent "get over" in the eyes of the fans. The process takes time, and we are seeing the results.

Once the injured fighters heal up, the cards will be stacked again. That was to be expected. Injured fighters don't stay injured forever.

You are digging a bit here. The future you foresee sounds like bs to me.

with the Strikeforce merger it should be.

List of awesome fights we could see next year

JDS vs Overeem
Gsp vs Silva
Jones vs Sonnen- maybe not an amazing fight but should sell ppvs
Jones vs Hendo
Hendo vs Machida
Aldo vs Edgar
Gsp vs Diaz
Cruz vs Barao
Aldo vs Korean Zombie
Bisping vs Belfort
Cerrone vs Pettis
Rockhold vs Anderson
Rockhold vs Weidman
Marquardt vs Gsp
Mousasi vs Machida
Cormier vs Reem
Cormier vs JDS]
Werdum vs Nog II
barnett vs Nog
Werdum vs Mir
Werdum vs Barnett
Jacare vs Palhares
Jacare vs Silva
Melendez vs Bendo
melendez vs aldo
Cyborg vs Rousey
Silva vs Diaz

The list of big time headliners possible for just the first 6-8 months is ridiculous. Like someone else said, if a lot of these fights come to fruition and the Ufc an not reverse the stagnation they've had over the last 2 years I'd be worried(not that I expect that to happen because I think it will be a huge year if that happens).

The cards are getting worse. Ufc swallows another org. No super fights. Just more watered down events of fighters that belong on an under card of a super fight we don't get. Oh but we get wmma. That should help ppv. Bravo dana and ufc. (Not serious)

As for title shots, you got sonnen and hendo a combined 6 title shots by march 2013 with a 0-6 combined record. Meanwhiile, former champs anthony show time pettis who beat benson is without a title shot as is nick diaaz former sf champ. Count and korean zombie are both over due. Hendo and sonnen walk into title shots they don't earn and lose.

Insert beatadeadhorse gif here!

I boycott when I feel I am getting screwed so, I cannot support the madness. I'll watch. Spike or fox will air it I just won't pay for it.

I'm starting to think they might have learned their lesson based of recent matchmaking and card-building.

Fuel and FX cards might stay a little lame, but I feel like we won't be getting as many weak PPVs.
