Ryan Couture vs. K.J. Noons booked for 'Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Healy' on Jan. 12
Awesome fight imo. I'm a big Couture fan. I know fans are sort of split on him on this board. I hope he takes Noons out. Sadly I don't think Noons gets picked up with a loss.
The bout is likely to serve on the Showtime Extreme-televised preliminary card of the event, which takes place Jan. 12 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Main-card fights, including three title bouts, air on Showtime.

I think Ryan is still too green for a veteran like K.J, even with his old man in his corner. This fight will end with either TKO stoppage or UD for Noons.

Noons needs to win this fight in order for the UFC to pick him up, Couture doesn't need to win as much as Noons does to be picked up. The UFC will pick up Couture if he loses or not and will build him up easily due to being Randy's son.
