Let me elaborate a little more. For most people eliminating Grains/Dairy/Legumes is a good idea, and eating meat, fish, and plant matter is actually a better idea. Garins and dairy are more problematic for the majority of people digestivly and metabolically. Yes people can survive on them and some may even preform well on them for most their lives but its far from ideal for the majority of people in this world. Vegans that rely on grains and/or omnivores eating a significant amount of calories from highly refined/processed grains like wheat and corn (*even the "good" kind) and conventional dairy...they are irrefutably worse for most people than meat, fish, and veggies. Most people have not adapted to live long healthy lives on grains and neither have most other animals we eat...hence the need for grass fed/pasture raised livestock. End of topic.

i do agree with you on that. i just hate the "there's no need for it so you shoudn't eat it" argument, which i understand wasn't what you meant but i like to give people shit.

BTW I personally hate the stuff (as in taste) and I find it strange that we consume another animals milk.

Not here to get into an argument regarding this just an adult discussion regarding whether or not milk is good for the body.
can I report you for talking about a 2009 thread when there was this reaaaally long thread just last month about the same topic?

Discounting booze, milk is the 2nd best product on earth to drink. Everything about it screams sexiness. The taste, smell, texture, boy oh boy.

That's quite a radical claim. Got any compelling evidence in support? Empirical evidence, not evolutionary just-so stories like this:

Check out the studies and references quoted and/or done by Phd Loren Cordain for starters. He has as well as others have studying this for decades. Evolutionary Biology applied to human paleolithic to neolithic to current diet/nutrition. You can checkout the work done by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride (MD).

Youtube video by Gluten expert Dr. Peter Osborne.

I have been drinking 2 litres of milk a day for the last 3 years.....wonderfully cheap, full of protein and calories.

I've gained 40lbs since i started doing that so i can only say positive things about it.....it's helped me gain quite a bit of muscle and hopefully my skeleton is strong.

Same here. People get pissy about milk because they are lactose intolerant and can't enjoy it. For those us who arnt lactose intolerant milks is fantastic and nutritious.
