Both Tim Kennedy and Josh Barnett said they are looking to be on the card. I'm sure one of them fills it out.
I'm going to have to buy showtime for January. Excited for this card. I also can catch up on Weeds.

Considering the struggle to find credible heavyweight opponents and some of the names being banded about before, this isn't the worst match up.
Solid record, from a famed camp and on a good win streak.
I'd rather see Cormier fight this guy, than an average joe american like Devan Cole.
He's 9 - 1 since his 09 fight with little Nog and that loss was against a 16 - 1 guy

Anyone else think this might be the last Strikeforce card ever since they're basically putting every champion on it?
Only person missing is Ronda, and I don't think she has anyone to fight (beside Cyborg but it's clear they're saving that for a UFC card).
Maybe they're just going to do fewer events with heavier cards.

there contract with Showtime ends in March. Showtime has the option to renew it for one more year but with Showtime/Zuffa relationship so strained it's highly unlikely.
I think we'll get at least one more SF card but this is definitely one of the last 2 or 3 cards they'll put on.
