Clay Guida vs Hatsu Hioki set for UFC on FOX 6

I've backed Guida on almost all fights recently with the exception of Bendo and I've faded Hioki, but I'm on Hioki here. This is a bad stylistic matchup for Guida.

i think Guida will become an example of a fighter who was doing okay in his original weight class and shouldn't have dropped weight class. There are some studs at 145 who have very unique and different skills than the LWs Guida were used to. also, Guida relies heavily upon his pace and speed, which are a natural characteristic of most FWs.

Good point, a lot of fighter's think that dropping a weight class will improve their chances at winning. But it doesn't always work since the skill set is different at each weight class.

Hioki may very well be the best guard player Guida has fought in the UFC. Very interesting match up. Would love to see a Hioki sub win but not too sure if that'll happen
