Ringside IMF Tech™ Sparring Boxing Gloves
I don't know if this has already been posted...
Was trying to hold off on buying stuff until Black Friday came around, but I saw these had come on sale again for $29.99:

Thanks to Mr. Blair Dennett for answering my questions regarding his experiences with these gloves.

Ya I saw that a while ago, but did post them as they are synthetic leather, but I guess fir $30 it doesn't matter.
As a side note, I don't think companies should be allowed to name synthetic leather "perma-leather", or include "leather" in the name of a synthetic, as it gives the wrong impression, especially when they do not discribe the actual material in the description.

Yeah, $30 for IMF seems like a good deal. I'm okay with the synthetic as long as it's durable and soft to the touch. Plus with my leather gloves it's usually the foam that gives out before the covering does so if the synthetic last longer than the foam, it's all good.

I first got a pair from Sherdog member Dat1978 (the elastic cuff ones) ages ago. They've been in use at our gym for about 18 months or so and are still in pretty good shape. The only part of the glove that is really smashed up is the elastic cuff, which is to be expected.
The IMF foam used by Ringside/CSI is in my opinion probably pound for pound the best material I've ever seen used in gloves. It's protective, comfortable and generally refuses to break down over time.
If you get them in lace-up and use them as sparring gloves they're a steal at that price.

it wasn't until i made my hook and loop versions of those into laceups did i even notice that they weren't real leather. they were easily the best gloves that i'd ever used at the time. i have since used better, but those things were rad as fuck. i'd buy the hook and loop version again.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Synthetic leather at all. I bought like 5 pairs and sold them to my students and 3 of them are still being used. It's a really good deal.

Ha, same thing here. Have no use for these but I have a mental condition where I'm always tempted by great discount deals. "I'm saving so much it's almost like they're paying me!".

Yeah I feel you bud. I have so many gloves that I'm not even bummed that I'm selling them for MUCH less than what they're worth to people.

Just got these in the mail today. I was expecting the color bleed issue on the logo, but mine were fine. For $29.99 I wasn't expecting too much, but the gloves look great; straight stitching, no loose threads, the synthetic material is soft and pliable. The last few gloves I've bought have been hit or miss on the quality control, but I actually don't see any manufacturing defects on these gloves at all. The laces look a little cheap, but other than that, great deal. These definitely don't look like $30 gloves.
I bought these to compare the IMF foam to the Bayfill foam in my Top Ten gloves.
These seem to be denser out of the box than the Top Ten gloves, but the Top Ten gloves softened up over time and I expect these will as well. Also the Top Ten gloves have more foam over the knuckles, the foam on these are more evenly distributed across the glove.
Looking forward to sparring with these.
