Maybe not. But he beat Condit and Okami the same night. Throw in a win over Dan Henderson I say he was one of the top MW's.

must not have watched a lot of Jake Shields. I agree, his fights in the UFC and over the course of hte last few years prob haven't been the most exciting. but, Jake certainly has been involved in some decent scraps that were exciting.
