*vid* Latest fight input

Hey guys,

I recently posted a sparring video and got properly critiqued for the lack of footwork and poor boxing form. That's more recent than this fight.

I fought it using the same flat footed stance, and have, since getting the sparring video posted and critiqued, changed that. I'll try to get some new footage soon.

Bullet points:
  • Mediocre boxing. I tried to stay out of range due to feeling very "chinny" at the time, having gotten knocked down in sparring a couple of times during my preparation because of my defensive negligence
  • Despite having used somewhat stationary footwork, the other guy got cut off repeatedly.
  • Technique got sloppy from time to time.
  • EDIT: it was WAY too short. 2x 2 min rounds

The organization sucked. The fight was way too short and it was a split decision, and almost a draw, even though the other guy literally turned his back and ran from the fight at one point.

Hope you enjoy it and looking forward to your feedback.

Icon1 KS: 2 Points...

Two Points:

1. Way open to counter hands on the round kicks.... Nothing wrong with your round kick technical's....

2. Rapid fire swinging shots at varying levels... leave your head wide open to straight punch.

Note the opponent had height & reach advantage, which is a significant hurdle for you re boxing....

You & your opponent looked to be having a good time....

The kicks were the only thing i could comprehend. That was the ugliest frantic swinging i've seen in a while. Looked like two cats trying to claw each others eyes out.

Yeah you both totally open up when in distance. I think the helmets are the reason for that, your not as scared to get caught by a hook so you just stay in the pocket winging punchs. Props on the victory though you landed some solid shots
