Dwain was a base jumping friend of mine. He was to base jumping what steve irwin was to conservation. This motives of the jump are controversial to some. Some say he was trying the ultimate stunt....to freefly through a "window" of the bridge outlined by support cables and the actual structure. His glide angle was perhaps a fraction of a degree low, and his body struck the bridge rail. many were covered in his d.n.a., especially those 1000' below in the canyon bottom. It was tragic. A waste of a great life...
