A new Heavyweight top 50

You can see it here on this blog. I didn't put a ton of work into it because there's not enough activity to justify it except on top.

Nice list. I notice you haven't put Haye on the list, however. If you were going to add him now, prior to the Barrett fight, where would be go?

He hasn't had a single heavyweight fight yet. I am surprised boxrec has him at #5.

I doubt he can compete with the likes of Klitschkos, all he wants, like everyone else, is a payday.

Haye's fought at heavyweight once against a guy I had ranked #50 at his best. I would put him in about #18 or so were I do do it pre-Barrett, and honestly, even if he KOs Barrett in one, that's where he'd end up after that fight too. Barrett was knocked out recently by Cliff Couser, remember.

I like it- I always do.
These lists, the commentary justifies just about everything.
Kudus to you D&R, as always.

Lots of faith in Povetkin.
Thatís OK with me, I think heís the best heavyweight with under 20 fights Iíve seen in awhile. I bet that horse over most of the others who arenít named Klitschko.

Howís about that Valuev, hanging around the top for so long ?.
Who would have ever thought ?
In the age of the super athlete, heís patterned his position in the rankings over the past 4 years as though he were Joe Frazier in the 70ís or something, ever near the tipity-top.

You know, i had forgotten for awhile one Kid McCoy talking about Valuev as a top ranked contender some years back.... good call.

Good list but holyfield, toney and sinan sam are ridiculously low. And Tony thompson and michael sprott are too high.

Sinan sam kayoed the fuck out of danny williams!

No more like 4 years ago, and since than williams has deterioted a lot.
Sam has been fighting a higher level and theres no indication to the contrary that the same thing wouldnt happen again if they fought..

What do you think of Michael Hunter and Dontay Wilder, both should be debuting soon.
