2/29/12:

Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I was riding all day, so I wanted to move.

Bench Press: worked up to a max single at 175lbs(5lb PR)

Pendlay Rows: 165lbs 3*5. easy.

Kroc Rows: 50lbs*20 reps each arm.

DB bench press: 100lbs total for 2*8 easy.

the last two were assistance. I won't have to do bench or rows on Friday now.

I need my rest week to come quickly. I'm burning out a little.

I ate like shit today. I was out on the road all day.

food:
sausage and egg sandwich, protein bar, greek yogurt, banana

steak salad and half a piece of cherry pie.

two palm sized cracker sandwiches with cheese.

PWO shake, chicken salad sandwich.

maybe something else, maybe not.

Fucked up day today. I started off the day feeling great, now I feel like I have the T-levels of Bieber. All I did today was argue with people and listen to people whine and complain. So now, thanks to them, I feel like absolute shit, Whoopdy-fricken-do.

I'm gonna work out tomorrow and get my balls back. Then i'll eat a lot to make sure I feel manly enough to not chop off my own head in disgust.

3/4/12:

Good workout today. Felt great.

Clean Pull: 190*5 200*5
SGDL: 230*5 240*5
Pullups: between each set of everything I did 5 reps.

Super setted these three movements. Only as much rest as I needed to change weights.

SGDL: 255*5(15lb PR)

Clean Pull: 210*5 ([color=blue] 10lb PR{/color])

1- arm rows: 52lb KB* 2sets per arm* 20 reps.

Hard workout, but I did well. Was easy.

Food:
4 bacon strips, whole milk, berries
PWO shake, oatmeal
TBSP PB
Greek Yogurt
Roast and Veggies, sweet potato.
Other things yet to be decided later.

Monday 3/5/12:

Power Clean and Jerk: 115lbs 3*5
Squat 5*3 w/ 160lbs
Pullups: 5*10

Circuit of these three w/ 30 seconds rest between exercises.

Dips: 3*10
Reverse Flyes: 3*8 w/25lbs

circuited those two as well.

Ab rollouts w/135lbs. I don't remember how many

saxon side bends w/15lb dumbells. I don't remember how many of this either.

Sprints: 2 uphill long ass sprints( I haven't measured yet) and two downhill of the same distance.

food:
2 eggs and hot sauce, oats 3/4 cup, cantaloupe.
beef and broccoli
PWO shake w/water, 2 pieces of bread w/honey, pear
Tuna, salad, 2tbsp peanut butter, cheese, milk.

I circuited these exercises cause I was looking for a hard workout.

Tuesdays 3/6/12:

rest day. I was dead.

food:
1/2 container greek yogurt with berries and almonds, 3/4 cup oats
ground turkey and broccoli, pb 1 tbsp
3 pieces of cheese.
banana
PWO shake w/milk, greek yogurt, chicken breast.

I didn't eat enough before training that night, I was sick by 1 hour in.

3/7/12:

I've switched hills on my hill sprints. This one is longer, though I don't know how long yet, and hillier. It also makes you want to die.

Sledgehammer circuitx2:
10 overhead left and right
10 underhand left and right

sprints: 1*8 w/ walkback+20 seconds rest.

I was getting stomach cramps by the end of the sprints. The hill is much, much worse but I shouldn't have been as bad off as I was. I feel like I might be overreaching a little bit. Problem is, I can't seem to let myself rest.

I am not working out today(3/8/12) and I may not work out tomorrow either. I probably shouldn't. I probably won't.

food for 3/7/12:
2 eggs and english muffin
2tbsp Pb, cheese, carrots
chicken salad and salad
PWO berry shake w/ water.
tuna and salad, pickles.

I'm thinking of competing again soon. Maybe This April. I already have one scheduled for May, but the one in april is smaller, and would get me ready for the new experience class I'm entering. I don't know yet.

edit: I don't remember the last time I had a full off day with no training of any kind.

3/8/12, Thursday:

food:
1 egg yolk, 2 egg whites w/ hot sauce, oatmeal 3/4 cup and apple

tuna, carrots, cheese, milk

banana and some almonds

PWO shake w/ milk, lunchmeant cheese, avocado, greek yogurt, pineapple.

I believe I am officialy overreached. I have lost 4 pounds in the last three days, for no forseeable reason. I have been less motivated to train, I am burning out faster than usual, I can't remember the last time I had a full rest day( a day where I did no combat sports or S+C), i'm not sleeping as well, and I'm not as focused.

I can't believe it took me this long to realize, to be honest. I'm not that bad off, but I need a break. I'm going to take the next three days as complete rest days, and get back on track.

Monday, 3/12/12:

Deadlift: 135*5 185*3 205*2 225*1 330*1(15lb PR, and 2x bodyweight for the first time.)

KB get ups: 1 each side w/52lb kettlebell. I just wanted to see if I could do it.

curls and Pressdowns for da pump

1*4 hill sprints, short, with jog backs. No rest.

I was happy about the deadlift. I managed to get it up and as soon as I set it down, I fell to the ground. I couldn't even hold myself up.

I started the lean gains diet today. I'm liking it so far. Lot's of focus in the morning, lots of energy and relaxation at night. Plus, if fits my schedule perfectly.

food:
7:30-11:45: fasting period. 2 cups green tea.
11:45-12:00: pre-workout meal: pear, 1/2 scoop protein and BCAA's.
1-2 PM: 2 7oz can's of tuna, lots of brocolli, 20oz milk and 1/2 scoop whey, wrap, cheese.
4PM: health muffin.
6:30-7PM: turkey sandwich, 2 deviled eggs, grapes, large salad with ranch.
around 9PM: probably some cottage cheese and peanut butter.

Around 2000 calories today.
