Preacher is one of the finest comic books ever written, though it can get unremittingly
grim at times. I'm actually glad the TV/film adaption is burning in Development Hell right now, because I don't think they could do it justice. The most controversial elements would be written out(once you get to the final issue you'll see what I mean)and we'd end up with a pale shadow of Garth Ennis' vision.
