I'm in but I never want to weight less than 200 lbs again. Only around 205-208 now so I need more muscle.

My plan is to eat a ton and run/grapple. Must lose my gomad fat coat.

If I lived where you do it would be a no brainer, but I'm five hours away from Richmond.

I think that ultimately it would end up costing a few hundred dollars, be a five hour trip, stay in a hotel, my wife would come along and she isn't even sure what powerlifting is, everyone would ask me how I did, etc...

The money thing is probably the biggest part because my wife is in nursing school now so its just me working for a couple of years. We have plenty of money saved up right now to last us quite a while, but she is just overly cautious right now about our spending. Kind of ironic really because I handle our finances so she doesn't really have a clue about our financial situation, she just doesn't think we should spend much while she's not working. Anywho, that's probably a little too personal to be good s&c forum talk.

None of these things are such a big issue that I couldn't get past them, but for me to invest that into it I would want a total that I'm proud of in order to justify all of it, and I'm not currently there yet.

Its awfully tempting though.

You should just do it get a total in the books so you can train your ass off to smash it in gatlinburg this fall

I get what you are saying though, long trip for where you are, it's understandable

I'm guessing I would have to buy a singlet. I just looked online but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Do you have a link to where you bought yours, or do you remember what brand so I could look it up.

I bought mine from Inzer, should be able to find them on there products website

Here you go: Inzer Advance Designs: Lifting Singlet-Classic design lifting singlet sports several finishing touches that make this singlet a pleasure to wear as minimum required attire over your bench shirt or for workouts.

33 dollars, I shopped around and it was a decent price, don't know if anyone else has found cheaper

Also if you were thinking about it, my lifting partner that will be competing too has an extra set of knee wraps if you want to use them

Right around 4 hours, really there's nothing closer than 3-4 hours away from me

Detroit is like 9 hours from Gaitlinburg. I'd do Richmond this year, skip TN and maybe do the Cincinnati meet in the fall.

Only about a 20-25 minute difference between gatlinburg and cincy
