They have almost completely cut him out of the timeline. The bioware people who made The Old Republic, didn't use any of the KOTOR 2 story line while planning the game. The first Jedi purge never occurred.

any idea why? I thought it was a cool storyline. He could only be defeated by the Exile and pretty much mopped the floor with everyone else.

A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back are true classics, they`re often considered the greatest of Star Wars. Return of The Jedi was also very good and memorable, just not in the same class as Episodes IV-V in my opinion.
