Is it ok to run AVG and Ad-aware??
I've heard people say that you shouldn't run two anti-virus programs at the same time...but technically Ad-aware is an anti-spyware program...just wondering if it's ok to run these two simultaneously?

I know Kaspersky won't do it. When installing the newest Kaspersky anti-whatever ails your machine, it tells you that Ad-Aware and it t'aint kosher so it'll give you the option to quit install or continue whilst it removes Ad-Aware. Sucked cuz I had about 3 more months on my Lavasoft license. Oh well, I've been happy w/ Kaspersky's product so it's a'ight...

I just ordered the Kaspersky Ant-Virus software. How is it compared to other brands?

No!

NEVER install more than ONE antivirus EVER. Even if you disable all the automatic protection features on the additional antivirus(es), they will still, in all likelihood, conflict, and as a result cause errors on your system. These errors can very well damage your system to the point of having to reinstall it. Additionally, having more than one antivirus will lessen the protective ability of all of them substantially because of errors.
