Billionaire Dennis Tito Plans To Flyby Mars In 2018?

Billionaire Dennis Tito first private citizen in space in 2001 now has signed Paragon Space Development Corporation to develop a rocket to travel to Mars. The company has yet to show what they are developing. Dennis Tito known for taking risks plans on flying to Mars on this custom designed rocket in 502 days. NASA has never flew a manned mission to Mars and SpaceX does not plan on taking that trip till around 2030. So Paragon plans on doing in 5 years that no one has ever done in decades.

It would be cool if he made it. I think the article said it would take 501 days and the plan is to go in 2018? He is getting up there in age, so it will be close.

No way a dude that age makes it to Mars, he's basically spending years developing a space coffin. Hell of a way to go out though.
