Darth Maul will always be my favorite Sith. I remember when they were running down the hallway and they see him, they were like "uhhh....we should go the other way". He also beat the shit out of Obiwan and Qui-Gon, and he lost by some bullshit thing, like somone wouldnt see that coming...psh

For those who liked it, id love to know how old you were when you saw it. I only ask because I just wondered if it did appeal to a younger crowed. Which is one of the things I think he started trying to gear it toward, though he still left in gobs of boring stuff for kids.

Was there anyone who was something like 10 or 13 when they first saw it?

I was about 20 when I saw it. Which is kind of surprising now, I forgot that came out in 1999.

and the fact that a whole movie was wasted on the prelude to the war, rather than the actual "star wars".

are just a few of many things that completely sucked about the movie.


and while the duel was great we didn't get to see any darkside of the force powers.

When I saw it in theaters when I was 18, I thought it was ok. When I watch it now I see what an utter piece of shit it is. The Obi Wan/Qui Gon/Darth Maul fight is the only scene worth a damn in the whole movie.
