You can develop it. Its just some people have more raw natural power than others and are limited with how for it can go. Example is nomatter how hard GSP trains, he will never punch like Tommy Hearns.

But I bet you that someone with bad accuracy, timing and technique could develop a knockout punch with proper training.

I used to have no power in my punches, they were terrible, I couldn't have knocked out a child. But after a few months of training Muay Thai and boxing, I have dropped heavyweights that I train with. Becuase now I know when, how, and the right way to punch. But I still will never punch like Hearns or Manhoef.

y are ppl mentioning kos???

he is proof. the dude never striked in his life and now knocking ppl out. that doesnt mean he developed it, that means he has natural.

although i believe u can develop better form/technique for the power, there is still a limit cap. and some will just have it easier some won't

That's like asking why aren't all fighters at the same skill level.

A KO punch requires proper technique and application of power.

Both are things that you can develop by training.

You can develop a better chin to an extent by strengthening your neck and jaw muscles as well as concentrating on recovering from shots when you get rocked in sparring.

Genetics play a factor but they don't determine all of a fighter's abilities.

Na I think Fedor always had it. I always said he did and people would always argue with me that he hadnt ko'd anyone on the feet. That's just bc I guess he didnt hit them right on the money.
