Steve Mazzagatti’s top 5 worst calls

This is just my opinion of course but I did some research and decided on a list of his 5 worst calls, feel free to let me know if I forgot any big ones.

5. Varner v.s McCullough - the mouthpiece controversy

4. Doerksen v.s Macdonald - indecision lead to excess damage

3. Burns v.s Johnson - eye poking fiasco

2. Velasquez v.s Rothwell - early/bad stoppage

1. Mir v.s Lesnar I - apparently didn't know what a tap out looks like

I'm not sure that the Cain/Rothwell stoppage was a bad idea since cain dominated.

He needs to bring back the porn stache IMO, he's a horrible referee without it.

Funny read actually, though the Cain/Rothwell fight shouldn't be on there. The rest was great.

Well yea maybe it can be on the list but prolly should have been number 5 in hindsight.

IDK the Yves Edwards v. Josh Thomson fight was bad. He let Josh get brutalized for what felt like minutes lol

The one that sticks out in my mind the most is Kongo/Al Turk.

At the end of the fight Kongo was laying a relentless and brutally savage beating on Al Turk up against the cage and Mazzagatti seemed content to let him literally die. Those hammerfists still haunt my dreams.
