also - as far as builds go, silva is big enough to fight against full size opponents. GSP is only a champion because we have weight classes. size matters and while GSP isn't a midget like aldo or faber, he would be handled easily by mid pack heavyweights all day long.

if this fight happens, silva will not practice his takedown defense. he will submit GSP with strikes from guard. GSP will be able to take him down but he won't be able to advance position and he's to short to work some gn'p on anderson, if he postures up, he'll get knocked out. and also - GSP's nifty new jab is gonna work about as well against anderson as sean sherk's did against bj penn.

it's not the punches that scare me. it's the knees kicks and subs that make AS a bad, bad man. those longs limbs are bad news for gsp, unfortunately. his leverage will come into play cometh game day, i think.

The reason most of Silvas opponents arnt in the UFC is because he utterly destroyed them and made them look like a fool who didn't deserve to be in the UFC. GSP on the other hand fights people for 5 rounds and they don't have a scratch on them so obviosuly they don't get cut because they didn't get KTFO in the first round.

The fact that Silvas opponents are no longer in the UFC is testament to how badly he kicked their ass. So thanks for making another valid point in favour of Silva being the numebr 1 p4p fighter.

True, but the guy Silva just kicked in the face in his first round victioy is a former LHW champ in two seperate orgs, and a HW tournement winner. Just sayin'
