Roger Gracie "Weidman can submit any world-class grappler. He can tap anyone, even me"

http://espn.go.com/blog/mma/post/_/i...ly-ufc-weidman

"I think [Weidman] is very, very dangerous. His grappling is at a very high level. He can submit any world-class grappler. I think heís really that good. He can tap anyone, even me. Itís just a matter of if he can put Anderson in those situations. I would still put my money on Anderson but I think Chris Weidman is dangerous and can surprise him."

Strong words comming from one of the best BJJ black belts in the world.
This type of praise comming from a guy with the credentials as Roger should speak volumes of where Weidmans ground game is.
This Weidman-Anderson fight will be interesting once it hits the ground.

Do they work out together or something?

Anyone can be submitted. I could submit Roger Gracie with ease...if he was tied down...and unconscious.

I see Weidman winning the ground game. SIlva will try to keep it standing and pick him apart. This fight is good. Hopefully Weidman doesn't get caught while trying to shoot in on Silva's legs for a single!

I don't think Chris can submit Roger, but his grappling is indeed very strong.

Weidman has definitely trained with the Gracie family, for sure. I'm not sure if he trained specifically with Roger, but it WOULD make sense since they're on the same card.

Anderson's grappling is ok, Weidman's is much better and will have his way with Anderson on the ground.

This will look like the Takase fight.

Ok, now I'm nervous. I was surprised for GSP to be so high on Weidman, but I know that GSP really respects the power of wrestling (given that essentially changed his primary style to wrestling). We usually see wrestlers pick each other to win, so that makes sense. But Roger Gracie? Roger Gracie? I'm thinking Anderson better be training nothing but TDD.

Roger is a Renzo Gracie black belt, just like GSP is. Weidman is a Renzo Gracie brown belt.

There's some bias, but whatever.
