lets give this one up. it was an illegal knee but since the ref didn't properly call it and Chael didn't want to contest it, the fight stands as called, Anderson wins

Any MMA organization to have a championship belt should have a tournment to determine the first champion.
The Lineal World Heavyweight Championship is the only legit heavyweight title in MMA.

Those guys aren't very smart. Body shots knock the wind right out of you, tire you out, and tons and tons of Pro fighters say they would rather take a shot to the face instead of the body.
I'd even rather take a shot to the face instead, getting the wind knocked out of you and feeling like you can barely breathe fucking sucks.

About a week going into the Bonnar fight, there was a few people saying Sonnen couldn't have been as hurt as he was from a knee to the chest, sighting that as proof as to why the knee must have hit Sonnen's face.

It wasn't legal because the lower part of the thigh is considered the knee. The fighters know this because it is part of the pre-fight meeting.
However, if the ref doesn't catch it, and the fighter doesn't contest it, the rules also say that you don't over turn it.
