Mike Pierce disagrees with UFC on FOX judges
“I was just confused,” said Pierce. “I didn’t understand when Bruce Buffer read the results of the first judge. I was like, ‘Really?’ … I didn’t know what that judge was thinking. I don’t know what fight he was watching, but everybody that I’ve talked to in person, everything that I’ve read on the Internet — yeah, your guess is as good as mine.”

Another judge in MMA that apparently doesn't know much about his job. I know some decisions are harder than others, but come on man! Get these judges out of the sport! It really does feel like some judges don't even watch the fights.

split decision for Mike Pierce (28-29, 30-27, 29-28). I thought it should have been unanimous, like Pierce said.

this is why judging needs to change. It should've been a unanimous but then again wasnt really that much of an entertaining affair

I still think the system is alright, just needs consistent and proper application. It's gotta be the worst feeling in the world finishing a windmill storm against Garcia and hearing "29-28, Sucker! 29-28...Garcia! And winner, by split decision..." I think I'd have a heart attack.

Yea, I was there live and I think all of 5 people thought Paul Bradley took two rounds. Unfortunately, one of them was a ringside judge. :l
The other four were sitting in front of me, rocking Iowa state gear.

I remember there was actually a couple rounds that were actually close that I could have seen judges give to Bradley. I still scored the fight for Pierce though.

Nothing.....nothing will ever beat the fact that one of the judges in Mousasi-Jardine gave Keith the 2nd round( and because of it, one of the worst cage crimes took place......one man administered a savage beating to another man and got a draw for his efforts )

Way to make a thread about an article on the Sherdog front page. Top notch reporting WB.
I wonder if this is grounds for thread deletion...
