Certainly enough to pump enough plastic into his face to become a human barbie doll and enough to whiten his teeth to the brightness of the sun.

Thats insane if true, but I do not doubt it, I read somewhere once that referee's make $500 per night each, but I believe that is regulated by the athletic commissions not the orgs.

24 events a year as of late, although its increasing.
I doubt he gets payed that much, thats worse than footballers wages (well ok, no where near as bad). But compare what he does to the under card fighters who get 8000 for their fight.

I agree he gets the crowd pumped , im not hating on Bruce . As i said i like his 360 Buffer move thingy but NO ONE pay's for a ticket to an event or purchase a PPV becoz of him , even if he gets replaced it will have zero negative effect on the UFC revenue so to pay him that much doesnt make sense ..
When paying close to a thousand dollars if not more a year on UFC live events and PPVs people expect a certain product level. Your right about people not paying to see Bruce, but he is part of the UFC brand that people expect. At live events he is phenomenal at getting the crowd excited, so I strongly disagree that you can just replace him with any announcer out there. Replacing him to save a few bucks would lower the product level of the UFC. If he's making that much I'm sure Dana and the Ferittas highly value him. And who cares anyway?? Its not like Dana is gonna fire Bruce than hire a cheaper announcer and reduce ticket and PPV prices.

So has Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell. I'm pretty sure you don't buy a PPV to hear Bruce Buffer.

Meh, internet is no help with pinning down a definite number. I have found conflicting sources claiming everything from $20k an appearance to $100k an appearance to a yearly salary of $68,000 to $157,000. Either way he is well off, all ya have to do is look at his bling and you can tell dude is not wanting for anything.

Yeah and Chuck was rewarded with a executive position in the UFC. I really don't care how much he makes, I just don't feel the need to hate on the guy for making money. If Dana wants to pay him 3mil a year, thats great for him.

The commentators are worth every penny.

But the announcers are about as replaceable as the ring girls.

Every time I hear them announce, I'm just like shut up and get on with the fight already.
