Why would Condit want to throw away his shot at the real title? He's going to try to ignore Hendricks until GSP comes back, so he can get his shot at the real deal.

He forsure deserves it. Knocking out Fitch then beating Koscheck is better then anything Condit has done.

Being a champion is more than just holding a belt. It's defending that top spot by showing that you are better than the rest.
