GSP's opponents winning-streaks compared to Anderson's
GSP's opposition :
Fitch 16-0
Shields 15-0
Sherk 12-0
Hardy 7-0
Alves 7-0
Hughes 6-0
Condit 5-0
Anderson's opposition :
Franklin 7-0
Marquardt 6-0
Sonnen 3-0
Okami 3-0
You cannot say the same for Silva, whoose best win in terms of stats is Rich Franklin with 7-0 prior to their fight.
The carreer of all fighters seems to be flawless and flourishing until they get the right to be destroyed by GSP. Any thoughts?
A fan or not, you cannot deny the facts. His opponents are bringing a long winning-streaks to the table, whereas we cannot say the same for A.Silva.

People have been saying this for awhile, it's not anything new man....Hence the "WW depth", etc.
I agree somewhat, but records can be deceiving and quite simply "the map is not the territory"....

5/10, not a bad effort. Would have looked more legit had you shown the records for Anderson's opponents as you did with GSP's though.

Given by these statistics it would be frivolous to dispute otherwise. GSP fought the better competition and he would bring it to Anderson. His TD/jabs would make Anderson think twice about... na ts idk what your smoking but GSP could have fought GOD and won he still going to get steamrolled vs anderson

Anderson fans wouldn't be able to handle it.

you forgot vitor belfort, he was coming off a 5 win streak. And btw what's your point?
So by that logic Jon Jones wins are meh? Rashad was the only guy he fought who was coming off a 5 win streak. The rest had no winning streak at all.
Machida was 1-2 in his last 3, Rampage was 2-1, belfort was coming off crushing two tomato cans and getting ktfo by Anderson. Shogun was 1-1 in his last two before fighting Jones. I don't think that's a good way to measure somebody's level of competition.

I agree, GSP is king of the tougher division.
With that being said, you can only beat who they put in front of you and I still think Anderson is the far superior fighter p4p.
As with all p4p discussions, it's all theoretical and having them fight still wouldn't prove anything unless it's the smaller man that wins- which I'm 80% sure wouldn't happen.

That's why it needs to happen specially if GsP wants it.
