Glover Teixeira vs Fabio Maldonado was the most violent fight in UFC history.
For the last 6 years I have rewatched every UFC event the next day after the fight.
This was the first fight EVER that I COULD NOT RE-WATCH.
This fight was brutal. There has never been a more violent fight ever in the UFC.
Hendo vs Shogun doesnt compare.
Rory vs Che Mills doesnt compare.
Diego vs Kampmann was mainly superficial flesh damage. The concussive force that Glover put on Fabio throughout the fight was probably 10 times that of Kampmann to Diego.
Cyborg vs Jan Finley comes close, but that was in Strikeforce.
Wow. Just wow.

This is the first fight where I cringed at every shot Glover threw because of the evil intentions and force...
Shit was insane.
I really thought that I was watching a live execution.

not even close to the most violent fight in ufc history.
in terms of all mma i wouldn't even bring this fight up when talking about violence.

It's up there with some of the biggest beatdowns - Maldonado is beyond ballsy.
You could add Penn vs Sanchez to your list as another pretty vicious one sided beat down from start to finish.

I can watch nearly anything, videos of people getting dismembered, executions, disgusting shit in general, but I was in complete shock during that fight. Maldonado is too brave for his own good.
Call me a pussy, but I was on the edge of tears whenever Glover threw a punch from the mount and you could hear the impact on Fabio's skull.

Penn hits hard, but Sanchez had nothing similar to a guy as big and strong as Glover spending 3 minutes on mount.
