Dana's just tweeted that the reason this weekend's card in Nottingham hasn't sold out is because it's being held in Nottingham and they should have gone to London, Manchester, Scotland or Ireland.
Whilst it's a weak card in terms of star names, I think he's probably right. If it was in the O2, it would've sold out. I'd have gone. I'm not travelling to Nottingham for it. Scotland and Ireland would have sold out. I think you Midlands guys have dropped a clanger here by not turning out in force. The UFC had planned to visit the smaller cities here with Fuel/FX cards but doubt they will now.
- Edit: it's virtually a sell-out, probably 100 tickets left of the 10,000 up for sale. I'm not sure what Dana's complaining about.
