current fighters with the most top10 wins - constant updates.(!!!***big list***!!!)
the list is based on rankings from reputable sites like sherdog, mmaringereport, mmanews, mmaweekly,.... back to the year of 2000.
the research took me a lot of time. i just wanted to know which current fighter had the most quality wins, it's not about who is the best p4p or whatever.
a top 10 win counts only when you fight him on the weight where he is ranked at.
example: fedor defeated lindland(ranked mw). it doesn't count because he fought fedor at hw. if fedor would have fought him at his own weight, i would count it.
anderson's ww wins count because he fought them at their own weight.
Anderson, Big Nog, Fedor, GSP, Penn, Couture, Shogun, Liddell, Hughes, Wanderlei, Aoki

if you have any questions, ask me. i will post the result here in order to avoid the reiteration of the same question.
-Sakuraba and Wanderlei were ranked when Crocop defeated them, but not at HW
-Chuck Liddell was ranked vs Shogun
MMA News Written by Josh Gross from Sports Illustrated
Monday, 23 March 2009
6. Chuck Liddell (U.S.)
-Miller was not ranked against GSP.
miller was ranked after defeating Falaniko Vitale, which was a good fighter that time.
-Lindland was ranked, but at MW, he fought fedor at HW
-Arona was not ranked vs Fedor
-bustamante was ranked at mw, not at lhw when he fought rampage
-ludwig was a top 5 lw when he fought penn at ww, which was the best ww at the time, so it doesn't count
-Penn was only the first time a ranked WW vs GSP
-Schilt was 8-10 and Hunt around 5-7, both were ranked when fedor fought them

For GSP - Nearly 100% that Karo was, pretty sure about Trigg and less certain about Miller.

GSP fought Hughes 3 times. Trigg was, in that fight Rogan said it's like #2 and #2 WW's against eachother. Karo as well. Mayhem is debateable.

GSP's resume is much more impressive than any other. He puts Fedor to shame.

i count only wins. added trigg, have to think about karo, because he wasn't ranked on sherdog at the time, so i'm not sure if i should add him. i think he was ranked for the first time after defeating nick diaz.

Fedor has 0 real losses and GSP has a few. Which fluke losses has he come close to? Fujita rocked him hard but didn't drop him, and Randleplex didn't even hurt him.
