Yeah and I can feel the effects of this chronic inflammation. Up until a few months ago I had a pretty terrible diet for my entire life (I'm 29 now) and I now have pretty bad GERD (eso****ul reflux disease) as well as jacked up intestines. So I'm now supplementing fish oil, vitamin d3, psyllium husk fiber, I drink baby spinach shakes, and I eat less fast food. It's only been about a month though and I don't really feel a whole lot different yet, I still only sleep about 4-5 hours a night. I think it's the GERD that wakes me up. I started taking 5-htp about a week ago because I feel like I need to boost my seratonin.

You can buy "triple strength" stuff like GNC sells for an exorbitant premium (it triples the EPA/DHA to 900mg, but in a 1.5g dose, so it effectively only doubles the ratio, btw)...or you can not waste your money and just take the regular stuff.

Don't sweat the small stuff.

What brand is that? I currently use Nature's Bounty (supermarket stuff, green bottle) It's 300mg Omega-3 per 1000mg capsule which seems to be standard issue for the basic stuff.

you are right and these people are all just giving you a hard time. you can do the math and find omega 3 products which have more omega 3 density. the two highest standard products (containing fish oil ethyl ester) that I've found are now ultra omega 3 and that prescription pill which is stupid.

some of the confusion in this thread is because some people are thinking of products which have omega 3 but leave the other contents unlisted on the label, so they're imagining what might be in the pill. while others are thinking of products that have the omega 6 content listed right on the label, showing exactly how stupid the pill is.

If you search in your local city then you will definitely find some goof fish oil manufacturer, you can also purchase them from online suppliers.

Let me give you my advice on how to get your omega 3s this is a good breakfast!
Soak some chia seeds overnight in some coconut milk add some cinnamon get some quinoa and organic oatmeal cook the quinoa for a couple minutes then add the oatmeal for another 5 minutes mix all 3 together with the chia you soakes overnight if you want add some coconut butter or oil just a little bit. If you have a juicer get like 3 or 4 apples and juice them get half or a whole lemon and juice it along with your apples. You will not need to add any water or sugar to this lemonade. You need to activate omega 3s with vitamins C, B3 & B6, magnesium, zinc, insulin. You could eat some pineapple also has very good enzyme for all that protein and omega 3 your taking.
