Didn't read thread, but don't thrust your hips forward before you squat. Why are you doing that?

does your lower back hurt in any way after your 2nd set? your lower back is rounding quite a bit for you to squat that low. I did that and I had back issues and I thought I just had a weak lower back. After reading the starting strength article "why your lower back is killing you on squats" turns out you can go too low.
That is going too low without proper flexibility. I fixed my flexibility and now I don't have issues anymore.

Lol I have no idea. Really. It must be a habit I've picked up, maybe to overcompensate for arching my lower back so much.

Yeah, im going to stop doing that. Seems to be getting me some funny looks...

I've never actually had this problem with squats, and if i get any pain/ discomfort at all its usually after deadlifts. How did you overcome your flexibility, so I don't run into this issue?

I just did normal squats but I was aware of the rounding so I went as low as possible without rounding and just held my squat and tried to get a stretch with every rep

Thanks for the tip - I'll keep monitoring my lower back flexibility as I try to go lower.
